My small practice is located in the countryside of San Juan Island. I specialize in custom homes on rural properties. In addition to being an architect, I have personally built sixteen of my home designs over the last 28 years in Washington, Alaska, and Vermont. In Vermont, I was awarded home of the year, twice. Many years spent designing and building in challenging climates have influenced me to design homes that are, among other things, practical to build, warm and strong.
