Designing a new home requires both technical problem solving, and artistry. If you have a vision, we are here to help make it a reality in a collaborative and friendly process. If you are in search of a vision we will help you become inspired by the shape of the land and the dance of sunlight penetrating into the home.

You want to know what is the best technology for your home. We launched our practice leaning on our expertise in Passive House (green / sustainable & energy efficient) Construction, Modular Prefabrication, and the use of new materials like Cross Laminated Timber. We regularly adapt traditional house types like the A-Frame into inventive, quintessentially AirModern designs.

You want a successful and un-stressful build. We often bring a builder into the project from an early stage and work with them to meet the expectations for the cost and complexity of the project. If you are your own builder, and we offer extra support on good building practices.

You don’t want to break the bank. There isn’t another way to say it… we deliver an excellent product for the price. All design and drafting work is performed by the Principal, and we are never too busy to pick up the phone. Our target for architectural fees is 5% of construction.

You want to be inspired. The love we put into our designs is evident in our process, from sketch work to renderings. Buildings are poems for living in that speak to daylight and the shape of the landscape.
