The firm was founded by Principals Arlan Collins and Mark Woerman on the premise that the best outcomes emerge from a team-oriented process where all participants are engaged as equal stakeholders. This inclusive, integrated approach streamlines decision-making, fosters creativity, and results in smarter, more efficient projects that deliver exceptional value. Arlan and Mark continue to lead the firm today, supported by a strong business management team and five initiative teams that advance CollinsWoerman’s practice agenda and long-term vision.

CollinsWoerman is intentionally mid-sized by design, with a staff of 50+ highly experienced and passionate professionals. We offer the depth, resources, and technical rigor of a larger firm while maintaining the responsiveness, agility, and service ethic of a smaller one.

We plan and design approximately $1 billion in construction value annually, serving clients across seven core marketplaces: Commercial, Healthcare, Mixed-Use/Residential, Interior Architecture and Design, Science and Technology, Planning, and Sustainability.
